Melanie Beardsley

Melanie has been involved in the education sector for the last 27 years. She has held senior leadership roles (including 4 headship roles) in a range of primary schools from inner city London to rural schools in both Wiltshire and Hampshire. More recently she has taken a teaching position at Wellington Eagles Primary Academy and holds the roles of phase leader for KS2 and English Lead.  She has been involved in school governance for the last 21 years serving on the governing bodies as staff governor and headteacher.

Outside of school, Melanie volunteers weekly with the homeless charity, Alabare, working in a charity shop where she also creates inviting shop windows. She also practises solution focused hypnotherapy to support both children and their parents. Recently she has joined a local singing for healing choir.
