Andy Barker (Parent Governor)

Andy spent 24 years in the British Army.  14 of those were spent with the Royal Corps of Signals and 10 with the Queen Alexandra Royal Army Nursing Corps (QARANC).  During the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic he managed an Infection Control Training Team at Frimley Park Hospital and then went on to help risk assess COVID-19 testing sites across the South of England.

After leaving the Army Andy worked for the NHS as a Clinical Apprenticeships Facilitator before launching his own Training and Production company within the film, television, education and outdoors industries.

In his spare time Andy volunteers as a Community Co-responder and RE:ACT International Responder.
